Dr. Pavel Zufan received his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno, where he has been teaching Strategic and Operations Management for 6 years. His research is now focused on agriculture and food industry, mapping the structure of these industries in the Czech Republic, and is specialized in beverage production. He has been participating in 6 Joint European Projects (TEMPUS and ERASMUS), cooperating with universities from France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Denmark, and Austria. His publications are mainly focused on case method application, and strategic management, and he is interested in computer-aided strategic decision making.

He has been a WACRA member from 1996, when he actively participated in his first conference in Warsaw, and WACRA 2000 in Budapest is his 5th conference. He is a new member of the WACRA Executive Board.
