Brief Biography
My MSc is from Loughborough University, where my research focused on the
development of a pioneering interactive multi-media application for
Leicester Museum. I carried on the work in multi-media at Napier,
collaborating with Jim Gallagher on pioneering interactive multi-media Case
Studies, most notably Kwik-Fit and Stakis. I have both research and
consultancy experience in this area. I have published and presented papers
at a large number of international conferences. I have helped Lothian &
Borders Police gain Home Office funding for a research project and carried
out a TESEP funded project, developing an innovative Peer Assessment system
which is in use in the university. I review books/proposals for publishers.
I am a member of the Institute of Direct
Marketing and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I have been a member
of various committees and working groups and am currently a member of the
“at risk students” working group. I have been the on-site organizer for
WACRA twice. |
