Dr. Hans E. Klein, C.M.A.
President & Executive Director

Dr. Klein is the President & Executive Director of WACRA. He has edited 40 books on interactive, case-method based teaching and learning. He is editor-in-chief of IJCRA, The International Journal of Case Method Research & Application. He plans and  conducts conferences, seminars and workshops in many countries and speaks frequently at international conferences on Management Education, Accounting and Business topics.

Born in Czechoslovakia, Dr. Klein was educated in Germany, France and in the United States. He has held top management positions in multi-national companies in Europe and in the United States. He speaks several languages. He graduated from the Banking Academy Germany with a degree in Banking. At the University of Kentucky, he earned a MS in Accounting and a D.B.A. (Doctor of Business Administration). Dr. Klein is a Certified Management Accountant (C.M.A.). On the faculty of Universities in the United States and Europe, he has taught courses in Accounting, Finance and International Business.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of The Case Center (formerly the ecc -The European Case Clearing House), AAA - American Accounting Association, AIB - Academy of International Business, FMA - Financial Management Association, IMA - Institute of Management Accounting , Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Delta Sigma Pi.

Among his numerous publications are articles and books on planning and forecasting, the future of Management Education and on Innovative, Interactive Teaching and Learning Methodologies. His awards include the Bank Administration Institute Research Award (Long Range Planning in Commercial Banks) and the Wall Street Journal Award.
