Al Rosenbloom, Ph.D., is a Professor of Marketing and International Business at Dominican University, River Forest, Illinois. Al has taught marketing for the past 30 years and international business for the past 15. In his teaching, he draws on his experiences both as the owner of his own marketing consulting practice, A & R Consultants, and as a Fulbright Scholar, who has taught in Nepal and Bulgaria.

Al has a wide variety of research interests, which include writing cases, the application of the case method in management education, global branding, marketing in countries with emerging and subsistence markets, and the challenge of integrating the topic of poverty into the management curriculum. Al also serves as a case judge for the annual Emerald/CEEMAN Emerging Markets Case Writing Competition. He also holds the John Rowe Distinguished Professorship Chair at Dominican University.
